So if or when Eric buried his face in his shoulder, he'd definitely allow him to do that. A kind of silence fell between the both of them as he held him there and simultaneously let him seek comfort—two birds with one stone. Idle thoughts passed in through his head, about how quickly he was going to take care of that woman later, about Eric's state, and of course his own feelings. With small, anecdotal dialogues about how cute it was when Eric was flustered or embarrassed that made an amused smirk appear for a moment.
Though, at some point, he'll begin to pull back. ]
Nice as this was, think it's about time you laid down and gotten some sleep. There's even a bed you could take, and I'll be around before I start counting sheep too, so not like you've got any reason to worry.
