The most he's done involved teleportation spells imbued with fire and summoning his sword to stab Mira less than summoning actual flames. So, it stood to reason after a year of not using his flames properly that there might possibly be some complications if he went into his other form.

That said, it reminded him that he should at least try it out because he should get used to it and maintaining said form for potential upcoming battles. Victor had proven to be worth his time in that and it seems to a point the others might too. ]

There's a reason I'm called the Almighty Conflagration. With a single thought, there's nothing I can't do with a flame. There's a little something else too, but that'd require a demonstration off the ship, and straight on the Island itself. Pretty sure the ship wouldn't be able to handle it for too long.
